2001 Volkswagen EuroVan Full Camper by Winnebago Only 75, 082 miles After more than 6 years of ownership, we’ve decided to part with our well-cared for camper. We’ve really enjoyed carting our bikes to rides all over the west, but we haven’t camped in it much. The 2001 model was last version sold by VW. This version, sold 2001-2003, has the smooth 24-valve VR-6 6-cylinder engine with the most horsepower and torque in the model range. This camper has been totally reliable for us; we’ve maintained it regularly and proactively replaced some of this model’s more troublesome components (water pump, ignition switch). Brakes and tires have plenty of life left and all services are up to date (including the 2nd transmission service). (Service summary available upon request) Since purchasing it, we’ve also made a number of upgrades: Lifted and leveled the suspension, upgraded shocks to Bilstein HD (nice ride!), replaced the original head unit and front speakers, added XM radio and an Aux input, and added a 10’ Fiamma F45 awning (the best!). The van also has a 2†hitch to mount a bike rack – it’s never been used to tow. This camper is in great condition. We’re the second owners and I believe I have all the maintenance records back to original sale. We’re non-smokers, and seems like the first owners were too. The camper has had minor body work (a deer jumped into the left rear quarter panel – thoroughly repaired) and has a recently replaced windshield (original was damaged through wear and stone chips). All the camping systems are fully operational – the refrigerator even has the new upgraded burner! This well-cared for EuroVan is in fantastic shape and is ready for a summer of fun.
